The Walter Winchell of Whoopass

-Alas, Kinky Friedman lost the Democratic nomination for agriculture commissioner on Tuesday.

-Speaking of elections, are there any New York politicians out there who aren't having issues right now? Particularly (but not limited to) the ones on the Imus program? It's a fascinating soap opera to watch, though maybe not so much if you live there.

-Finally, you'd better watch Thursday's show if you know what's good for you, brotherrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Kinky came close!

Paterson, Ford, etc. Yup, you got some 'interesting' politicians over there in NY...

Boy, Bernie sure slam-dunked the I-Man when it came to comparing Obama and Palin!! Yay 4 Bernard NcGuirk! Enough of the smooth talkin, 'intellectual' politicians!!

David Paterson is daily making more and more of a mockery of New York State. I'd actually be laughing if I didn't live here.

I knew Harold never stood a chance here though. We can smell a phony from a mile away.

That was a VERY nice interview from the Hulkster on Thursday. He's a really cool guy.

On an optimistic note, even if the politicians mismanage our tax dollars and turn our states into third-world dystopias, at least it'll keep the Imus show entertaining and amusing. :-)

Did anybody catch Bo Dietl on Hannity last night? He did pretty well. I've noticed that he tends to tone down the Crazy Train when he appears on other people's shows.

“Three months short of my current contract,” he wrote, “I sent the following to the boss, [MSNBC President] Phil Griffin: ‘Phil, Just wanted to give you the heads up that my situation with MSNBC has become so unrewarding for me that I’ve decided to move on. — Craig’”

“This was a long time coming. I haven’t felt like a good fit for MSNBC since the presidential campaign, and their hard turn toward point-of-view programming.

“So many of my booking calls lately have been for segments bashing Sarah Palin, for instance. I was boring myself, and surely the viewers.
