Wow, is that the same Warner Wolf who currently works on the Imus in the Morning Show on FOX?He looks like a police officer in that 1980's photo, 'yo!
The first day Imus broadcast he raised FBN’s morning slot rating by 1500%ChannelXRFR is back blogging on Imus Times HERE.http://imustimes.wordpress.com/2009/11/09/its-official-imus-is-awesome-on-fox-business-news/
Dear CollegeGirl, Imus may have frightened Sandra Smith this morning when he stood up, reached into his waistline, and pulled out his gold coins. It reminded me of when the new sheriff in Blazing Saddles said, "excuse me while I whip this out" to gasps from the crowd.I laughed out loud. Just sayin'.
So, after all these years Warner is back at WABC. And laughing all the way to the bank.Another Warner Wolf comes full circle story that some of you may not know: many years ago when Warner was a sportscaster at a Washington DC radio station the station hired a new, young newscaster. That newscaster grew up to be Charles McCord.Happy 72nd Birthday WarnerWarner William Wolf born 11 November 1937, Pikeville, Kentucky, USA
Come ooo-on! Give me a break! Wikipedia says if you had Warner Wolf born in Pikeville, KY, you lost. They claim he was born in Washington, DC.Warner, we want to see the video tape!
Guess it's better to watch Imus on TV? Hard to listen to his TV Show on the radio...
I've been wondering about that too Al. The show has definitely become more oriented to TV. I wonder how happy Laurie Cantillo is about that??
well, I guess when you get on the FOX Network, a little ole radio station like WABC(and affiliates) doesn't matter anymore....Man, that stuff with the baseball, or football, or whatever they were doing this morning TOTALLY did not work on the radio...Poor Ms. Cantillo.
Bernard on the Hannity ShowBernie got himself a lot of Air time last night!
Love Bernie - I only caught the tail end of the Cardinal this morning so I hope they'll replay.I imagine the ball-throwing would have made pretty bad radio - it wasn't all that great on TV either. Wyatt is cute and funny though.
That was a nice Hannity appearance.I think that anyone who uses the phrase "Let's go to the daguerrotype" in their article automatically deserves a gold star, or a Newbery, or whatever it is they give writers.Glad to know Ms. Smith escaped from seeing that...LOL
