This Week...

- Rob Bartlett will be at the Comedy Connection in Providence, RI this Saturday, October 24. Tickets are here and directions are here.

-Mike and the Mad Dog actually reunited, briefly, and held a reunion show last Friday. (You can download from this page; it's close to the top.) I know that about 75% of my readers were fans of that program, so I wanted to give all three of you a treat.

-Under the program schedule, the Fox Business website for Imus breathlessly announces, "This week Levon Helms." I love Levon Helms - I have all his albums!

I liked Levon Helm on the 9th when he played live on the Imus program. But what did you think of Tanya Tucker on the 16th? Thought she was good.

Thanks so much, CG. How did I miss a Mike and the Mad Dog reunion? I was listening to Mike on Friday too.

Does anyone know what happened to the Imus show that used to be streaming on livetvcenter.com? That site says the show no longer exists! I got the address from someone here and was enjoying watching the show since I haven't been able to see it televised since Imus left MSNBC.

Thanks,

Esme

Tanya Tucker was great!

So, CNN is banning people from appearing on IITM, also?

Imus is irritated about it...lol.

TV early morning WARS!

I wondered the same thing. It was working well for a time but late last week it would not load and now I get the same message you are getting. Somebody pulled the plug for some reason.

Yeah, DL. And what's with the stupid message "The show does not exists [sic]"?

I can't believe I live in CT, two hours away from NYC, and my cable TV service doesn't carry Fox Business!

I think certain parts of CT have Verizon FIOS. If it's available in your area check it out. We have it and it's really outstanding service both on the TV and Internet. Our internet is 25down and 15up.

FBN is channels 117 and 617 on FIOS.

"30 Nabbed In Imus Drug Raid"

Details here: http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?articleId=514399&publicationSubCategoryId=200

LOL, I cringe to think about what you'd find in an "Imus drug raid."

I could swear that there was another link to a live streaming version of FBN that was posted a few months ago...I'll have to go back and try to find it.

As for CNN, does this mean that Larry King is banned from appearing as well? ;-)

Larry King would nave been a much welcome addition to the 7 o'clock hour today!

Patricia Cornwell is a wonderful person, but a full hour with her?
Whew, that was a 'long day'...

'They are only doing live *business news* online, between 6am and 9am while Imus is on TV, and a noon to 1pm broadcast. It is *not* FBN 24/7, and *no* Imus."

Now that the I-man has been elevated to sainthood we parishioners are expecting some words of hope and inspiration from the Cardinal.
