Booyah

So how important is this story about FBN beating CNBC, for the first time ever? So important that yesterday it was the Most-Read article on the New York Daily News website, even beating out "Celebrity Sexcapades: Caught on Tape," and "The Karate Kid: Where Are They Now?" When the I-Man is beating Ralph Macchio, you know he's doing something right.

..oh, and this...from the NY Post.

"Joe Scarborough is under intense pressure to perform as he goes head-to-head with old foe Don Imus."

ha! Good luck, Joe.

Loved Tony's brief bit on singing "negro spirituals" about the NFL. Very funny stuff. I wish he had a greater role. Maybe over time.

Show is really sounding good...really!

Good interview with Frank Luntz, especially the part about Imus' FOX ratings..

"It's over for NBC"..."They'll be selling jewelry over there pretty soon'...Imus

There was mention in a previous thread that the long time I-favs under contract to NBC would not be allowed to be on with Imus now that he's on FOX.

I spoke with one of those I-favs yesterday and he confirmed that report.

So until their NBC contracts expire we'll not be seeing Col. Jacobs, Mike Barnicle, Pat Buchanan on the Imus program.

Too bad, as they are my-fav I-favs (especially Col. Jacobs).

Let me guess who told you - was it Jack Jacobs? :-)

That is a bummer, though. Maybe they could appear at 9:00...
