The TiVo is set. Break a leg, Imus.
My DVR is set and my alarm clock is set. My MP3 recorder is set to record the audio. Everything is ready for the 3 hours and 34 minutes I must wait.Go Imus!
CG,For anyone who doesn't have FBN, I found a live stream here:http://www.livetvcenter.com/fox_business_1538.aspShow looks great!Keep up the good work with the blog.
Classic Charles rant this morning to start off the show. Obviously staged, but funny none the less.Show looks great on FBN. Production values are excellent. They obviously really thought this thorough and worked on it. High Def is ok, however, 1/3 of the screen is business news and graphics. Actually better just on the regular channel. Dickerson interview to lead off was not great. Beck was tremendous.
Hey Mike thanks for that link. Just tried it on my computer. Works great! Very cool.
Charles "you've lost a thousand pounds!" McCord... take your medicine. Haha. j/kHe was great.
A couple of Important questions for those of us who don't have access to FOX!!Did Imus have his Cowboy hat on? ...and, Is Sandra Smith a 'hottie'?Beck was good, because he is crazy!..lol. The other guests today were yawners.
He did have his hat on. But, actually he looked pretty good, even in high def. The Charles rant was really funny. It ended with, "go eat some bacon and eggs with hash browns....go eat something". More or less. Sandra Smith is a semi hottie.....If you don't have FBN try out the link Mike posted. Works really well.
Rob's Dice Clay routine about Letterman's Top Ten and an mp3 download link can be found here:http://shillsbury.wordpress.com
I wonder if the frequent shots of Jenna Lee's legs is intentional or not above Imus's head. You noticed they weren't showing Connell McShane's legs the whole time! lol
Maybe Imus should interview Jenna Lee! Probably would be alot more informative and entertaining than the guests that he's talked with so far on FOX...
I add some links to this post for twitter and facebook.http://youhavetobethistalltogoonthisride.blogspot.com/2009/10/mr-cavuto-wheres-coffee.htmlTwo long time Imus fans discuss Professor Awkward's book Burying Imus Anatomy of a Scapegoat (Audio) on The Commentary Website.
Wow, thanks for the live link! I'm gonna be using that in the near future. All in all, it seems like they're doing pretty well on their first week...
CG,Chickaboomer "Imus Puts FBN On The Map"http://chickaboomer.blogspot.com/2009/10/imus-puts-fbn-on-map.htmlMarty states, Monday debut, he ate up the old time slot of Money for Breakfast by 15 hundred percent.
Just 2 more days 'til the Levon Helm Band! Wonder if Levon gonna sing...maybe he will just play the drums!Turn your sets on now!
The freak factor raises FoxBiz to 1000% higher ratings...the program's "Boredom factor" will bring the ratings back down...
Anonymous.....You mean kind of like your posts. Repetitive and boring?
The 'boredom Factor" is related to the guests, no? Imus and cast aren't boring.Just 1 more day 'til Levon Helm AND 'Mad Dog' Russo!
What is up with Wtkk Boston reducing live Imus from 6-7 am?
Save Imus buy Craig Crawford's new book..Video on Craig Crawford's website.http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/trailmix/2009/10/save-imus.html
Imus had more viewers than CNBC the first day on FOX?Wow!
boring and repetative are Imus fans who think Imus is STILL great. He hasn't been since the MSNBC days. While the new show looks nice, the funny is to be found in other morning shows, and that is where long time former imus fans have now gone to. from Mike and Mike to Bob Rivers there are better alternatives to Imus...unless the prgram gets a sea change and becomes funny again.
levon Helm Band ain't quite the same as when Levon is sining, is it?blech...
From the Washington Post, on Imus' new FOX deal:"his debut was one of the most-watched programs in Fox Business history and beat the timeslot's average by 1500 percent."
Hey Anonymous(I'm assuming you're named after the famous Greek Philosopher)If you think the show isn't funny anymore, you haven't tuned in over the past two weeks. The move to Fox has invigorated the program and everybody on it.Bob Rivers? Mike and Mike?Hackasauruses Majorum.Faceless, Nameless and Unidentified
Al,Agreed....better with Levon; but is good they came out to support Imus. And Toussaint was great!
Bernard McGuirk on Sid's Radio show 10-9 discussing the President winning the Nobel Prize. http://www.wqam.com/index.php?page=347
Sorry to ask again, but the Boston market has only 1 hr of Imus on WTKK. Does anyone have any info on why and what other radio options there are?
Hey BTA,I'm not sure why they reduced it to an hour. Maybe ratings, or maybe the staff was afraid Imus would threaten to shoot all of their personalities, as opposed to just Severin. The good news is that you can listen to the program over the Internet at WABC's website, or at any of the other affiliates' websites. Even better, you can sign up at Imus.com to get a podcast of the full program.
