Hand-Washing

It is very important.

(Also - the Radiothon ends this Monday, May 11. Donations are encouranged, even if you are merely among the "lesser nobility".)

Hey, that link took me to a site which was written in German.

...and what's this about Imus getting into a tiff with the agent of either Karith or Tony?

Argh...I'm sorry about that link, it was formatted wrong. I thought I'd checked it before, but I guess I hadn't. It should work now.

The agent thing is interesting...

Tony and Rob share the same manager. Don't know of Karith...

Has anyone seen the poll up on imus.com about Sid's next assignment? The "Fire Sid" choice is leading all other options by about 6 to 1. Obviously, this poll means nothing because the I-Man knows what is good radio and what isn't, but I really don't get who doesn't recognize Mondays at 6:30 (The Sid and Bo Show) as appointment radio?

Well, I voted for Sid to cover NASCAR. Poor Sid, no way Imus fires him!

For the record, according to the Imus Program Director, "By definition, Imus in the Morning listeners are a twisted and sadistic bunch."

As hilariously out of place as it would be for Sid to cover NASCAR, I voted for the Sunday morning shows. Just so we could hear more ripping on that phony David Gregory.

I voted for Sunday mornings too, but let's face it, all the choices sucked. I think they should make him watch something like The View or Oprah - ok, just once a week, I'm not completely heartless :)

How about "Sid Sez"? Who cares what he reports on? He's funny and a good guy at heart--that's why Imus likes him. I'd rather hear him than Bo any day--although I like Bo even though lately he's been doing a lot of screaming.

Yeah, where is Karith? Has she been on this week?

Hahaha, those are all great choices...

As for those listeners who want him fired, I'm not really sure what they're expecting at 6:30 AM - I thought everyone knew that that timeslot is supposed to be Crazytown Radio, by definition of the guests. Who knows - maybe Bo has gotten all of his "good friends" to stuff the ballot box so that he can appear by himself. ;-)

I think Sid would be funny covering any assignment where he was out of his element (like NASCAR); or covering a program that's either pretentious (like "Booknotes") or contains pretentious people (like cable news shows or talk shows). If he watches the program, doesn't call Julie names, and doesn't "say something that gets the news trucks parked outside WABC," then he should be fine.

What Sid really wants is for Warner Wolff to retire and then Sid could come back as Imus' sports guy...

Sid should stick to covering things he knows about...like "celebrity rehab"

Don't forget to tune in for the Imus in the Morning Yuk-Off, this coming week.

The Yuk-Off contestants will be Fred, Sid and Bo...

no, wait, no such luck...

actually the big Yuk-Off will be between The Foster girl, the Powell guy and Rob!

The Yuk-Off will be fun...even though I can already predict the winner and I haven't even heard the routines. ;-)

What happened to Rob at the Yuk Off? Was he sandbagged? It was a LOL bit, and it played to crickets.
Karith and Tony's pieces were also funny...who woulda thunk?

How come we can't vote on Imus.com? What's the deal with this site? Who do they have running it? Travis the chimp?
