The L Word

For the past week, the news has been filled with coverage of the scandalous behavior of Rod Blagojevich. While this is obviously a very important news item, I feel that the media is missing the most important angle of the story.

Remember when the I-Man landed a coveted spot on that all-important list, the Top 25 Men Who Look Like Old Lesbians? Well, as much as I hate to admit this, I believe he has been bumped off the list by Gov. Blagojevich. Out-lesbianed, if you will.

Although this may be difficult to accept, I am afraid that the pictoral evidence does not lie:

Some of these radio hosts and politicians certainly have some interesting hair situations goin' on, no?
Must be the hair that makes them lesbianic-looking....

And speaking of a radio host with 'interesting' hair...
The F-Man(Fred Imus) said on his very fine radio show("Fred's Trailer Park Bash", on Sirius-XM) that this Christmas season, he is wearing mistletoe on his belt-buckle...

ha!

Hilarious blog entry CG - you are so right! Sorry I-man, Blago DOES look more like an old lesbian than you.

And I-man, Get Well Soon!!

I see only one way for the I-man to regain his lesbianic status:

Pay off the Gov. and buy back his slot on the list.

Just,

I think Dr. Phil is reading your blog, CG...

Did you year Dr. Phil at about 7:18 this morning...he did a whole Blago - Imus routine...and yes, he did mention the L-word when talking about Blago and Imus!

Get Well Soon Imus, Here are three things you must do to get better.

Hahaha, I guess Dr. Phil and I can both see the obvious issues surrounding both the Gov. and the I-man...

The "lesbianic" status is truly all about the hair. If Rod got rid of the 80s Power Businessman hairdo, he would probably look fairly normal. (I actually really want to know what kind of hair stuff he uses, so that I can get some for myself...I won't lie ;). That stuff could probably keep your hair in place during a hurricane.) Another thing that didn't help the Governor - the news channels keep showing stock fottage of him wearing a Hillary-style pantsuit.

And it's a very good theory that the I-Man needs to buy his way back onto the list. In this case, though, I wonder who Client #5 would be...

And it is good to know that Fred is up to his usual hijinks.:-)

Can you imagine what that mop looks like in the morning?

By the way, has anyone noticed that at the end of the newshour, Chuck always says, "Imus in the Morning is coming up next" even while there is absolutely no break in programming? I feel like this is intentional, given the whole month-long obsession that the I-Man had last spring with news people saying that something "starts now!"

Chuck is always so subtle!..

And speaking of hair, how 'bout Bernard, hosting the Laura Ingraham Show today?
Laura has unleashed Bernard on her listeners!

It is interesting that Charles does that. It probably is intentional, like you said; I'm sure that he's trying to stick to a formula. Good job outta you for noticing that. Incidentally, I do like it when Imus gets extremely random, exasperating obsessions over something small like the "starts now!" thing.

And I'm happy that Bernie's getting another opportunity to show off his talent. That's good to hear. Perhaps he'll be talking about his favorite guy, Bernie Madoff :-)
