Radiothon!

If you want to donate money, click here.

If you want to look at the auction items, click here.

If you want to ensure that your money will be spent on the little sick children - as opposed to it being spent on crack and hookers - then click here.

If you want to read a well-written article about the Radiothon, then don't click here. You will want to click here instead. (I'm just checking to make sure you're reading this). Thanks to Pat for the article.

That seems pretty easy, doesn't it?

LOFL! not only do I know the source of this, I know Russ, Chuck and Joe, and many of the other WaPo "Style Invitaional" people whose entries were nipped by this site.

(if you don't know about this and are good at word games, this is the weekly contest for you)

Every Sunday in the Washington Post, in the "Style" section.

What's fun is catch where their entries go on the 'web. Joe Romm, btw,is a go to on Hydrogen as an energy resource.

I'll be seeing them sext week when we all gather for the annual awards show. the "Flushies". It will be my first time at this...

Was actually one of the most entertaining Radiothons that Imus has ever had...plus they raised a decent amount of money!

Levon!...wow!

O & A were TERRIFIC! Imus is Opie's DAD? I totally did not know that...

If the I-Man had his way, little Wyatt would have two thirty-something year old step-brothers: Matt Taibbi and Opie.

Yay for not getting cruelly terminated in the middle of the radiothon this year!

O&A are awesome.

And I'm glad that this radiothon was held under less stressful circumstances than last year's. Canceling a sick children's fundraiser because of special interest groups is so 2007.

I can't wait to hear what the total will be.

Close to 1.4 million. Let's hope that when WABC gets a better idea on how to run one, that next year's Radiothon is longer than EIGHT hours.

Just one more COW...

Well...it IS hump day Wednesday...

wtf...

"Just one more cow," indeed...that sounded hilarious. :-) I love the random little moments like that - those are what make the show for me.

And the radiothon...that seemed to be a "learning experience" for everyone at ABC. Hopefully they'll know what to improve on by next year.

(And despite that, it seems to me that raising $1.4 million in 8 hours is quite a feat...)
