Go See Rob, Part 3

A quick reminder: Rob Bartlett's "True Love Ways" will be this Friday, February 15, at 8 PM at the Boulton Center for the Performing Arts in Bayshore, Long Island. Tickets can be found at their website...and judging by the seating chart, it looks close to selling out. If you'd like more information, call 631-969-1101 or check out the Boulton Center's main page. And, of course, you should check out robshow.com.

(Brando voice) Only around Christmas, Michael, only around Christmas. If Mr. Bartlett does it before then, he'll wake up one morning and find a reindeer head with a red nose sleeping beside him. :-)

Laree, that's awesome! I'm so happy to hear that. I'm really glad that she's keeping track of this info.

Number 7 ain't bad for a guy who has to come to the studio with an oxygen tank...

Al,
I haven't seen the oxygen tank since I'm stuck with audio (although I remember him using oxygen before om MSNBC), but I've been getting worried about him with this latest bout. Let's hope he recovers soon.

I loved that he called Ifill a liar - about time!

Dee,
Maybe TV and radio people make Imus sick? I think he said that he felt fine during all that time that he was off the air....then as soon as he gets back on the radio/TV he gets ill...

and, College Girl and Mike,
I'd love to see Tony Powel and Rob perform together...wonder how that would work out?

Dee, it REALLY is about time that he called out Ifill on her ridiculous claims. See, one of the things that concerns me about the I-Man is that he sometimes seems to take EVERYTHING his critics said about him last April as the gospel truth. Or at least, that's sometimes how he comes off. I'm glad he's being more assertive with some of the more ridiculous stuff.

And Al, it would be great to see them do a comedy show together. (Didn't they meet on the comedy circuit, or am I making that up?)

(And did he really come in with an oxygen tank this morning? Wow...)

Yeah, I believe he did say that he brought his oxygen tank with him...and Lou was making fun of him cuz the I-Man was trying to get someone to sell him oxygen...Lou kinda related it to like someone trying to buy drugs!

and, nice photo of Mitt Romney "hamming" it up with the I-Man...google it! I don't have the link...Boston globe, I think
