The Ratings

From radioandrecords.com:

"Citadel Broadcasting VP of news/talk programming Phil Boyce tells Radio & Records that the latest New York PPM data showed that the first eight days of Don Imus' new morning show on WABC/New York got great results.

"According to Boyce, Imus scored a 6.2 share 12+ which, he says, 'is a gain of about 20% from Curtis and Kuby's last month together.' He also shares that in 25-54 Imus notched a 3.5 share, nearly 30% higher than Curtis and Kuby. Boyce says the station overall added 200,000 cume in December breaking the 1.4 million mark."

Good news, CollegeGirl --

That's our boy -- and, he's just getting everything up and running.

My rating for Imus and the show: 100 percent excellent!

Imus in the Morning is FUNTASTIC!

Friday's show, in particular, was OUTSTANDING!

..and, the affiliate list continues to grow...

College Girl,

This is what Imus does he brings in ratings and revenue.

Imus is coming through for Citadel and RFD TV. I just want to see them return the favor. It looks like big cable companys are going to pick up RFD TV and we know why. Citadel needs Imus in the Morning available in some "key" areas like D.C.

I really want Imus on my radio down here in Dallas.

Mr. Imus will be on in Lubbock, laree, beginning jan 14, if that will help...

Don't be surprised to hear Brother Fred Imus on with the I-Man this week...Fred's birthday is coming up the end of the week.

Imus will also have Matt Taibbi back on this week...

Great job by Imus in snaring this awesome writer!

Taibbi is smart, young and brash without neing terribly offensive...he fits in well on Imus in the Morning..

So far, Imus has kept Bernard nicely in check...

The show IS coming together a lot more. I'm excited about their "discovering" Matt Taibbi too. I love the idea of them discovering a new generation of journalists, just like they did back in the day. Hopefully this will continue.

The ratings, affiliates, and revenue are going up...VERY exciting. And how plausible did this look back in April?

That's exactly how I felt when I saw the ratings, anonymous. Only 20%? Why not 40% ;-)

What do you work for the Imus show?? You notice it says the first 8 days. How about now. He's down to 20th place and way lower than he ever was at WFAN.

You notice he hasn't picked up ANY new advertisers they were expecting at RFDTV. All you see is commercials for their RFDTV shows.

IMUS is a big flop. They can't get rid of him fast eneough. That MLK day marathon of black remembrance was the most pathetic suck up session I have ever seen. Not only that but hiring 2 black people to clean his image up. How pathetic can you get. He's just embarrassing himself.
