Thanks for the pictures - enjoyed them since I'm back to audio. Imus looks great.A lot of people are complaining about the new show - for me it's been better than I expected, even with a few glitches.Of course everyone (especially the new kids) will need some time to relax into the new environment. And I'm sure the new cast members will learn quickly from the masters.Hey, the complainers should have to go back and listen to that aircheck you posted, from when he was playing hideous pop music and taking listener calls and saying "Are you naked?" to them. And even then it was better than anything else on the air!
College Girl,Imus 2nd day backYou kids better not make me get up and come over there LOLMarty's blog has the link.http://chickaboomer.blogspot.com/2007/12/all-imus-all-time.html
LOL @ using that old aircheck, Imusfan. That was one heinous tape. :-) I missed most of today's show, and apparently it was so bad (technical wise) that it made Drudge Report. At least it's keeping them in the press' eye. Some of those pictures were really good. I thought about posting my favorites, but I didn't have time. Maybe I'll get around to it.They're definitely in the "growing pains" stage right now. For me, it was so weird seeing them on that set. I have a mental image of them sitting at the MSNBC set, and seeing them somewhere else is just bizarre. As for the new guys, we'll have to see. I feel bad for Tony Powell - he's gotten zero press compared to Karith. Tony's pretty good.
Thank you for the link.No offense, but I think that Chickaboomer blog is awful. Hideous name, first of all. But that smug "I'm a Baby Boomer so I'm going to show my faux rebellion by attempting and failing to be witty" routine has got to go. She's about as funny as bone cancer.
Not only the technical issues...but so far the show lacks ENERGY...and the guests? John Kerry? too many tired old guests....boring stuff...I finally turned the show off and went back to Satellite radio music.C'mon, Imus, pick up the pace!!
Yeah...they've def. got some growing pains they need to work through...
College Girl,Hot Air already picked up on Imus asking Huckabee a sensitive question on his forenign policy experience and Huckabee made a joke...about staying at a Holiday in Last night. Fred Thompson came back with the Country doesn't need a Jester for President when The Countrys National Security is at stake or words to that effect. Hot Air has 77WABC in their blog roll. I am not suprized they are listening to Imus. Hot Air posted it on Dec 4th if you want to take a look.
College Girl, stirring the pot back only two days..just in the knick of time if you ask me.http://hotair.com/archives/2007/12/04/fred-camp-on-huckabee-we-need-a-president-not-a-court-jester/
That's good to hear, Laree. Thanks.
