Seasons' Greetatations

A few years back, the venerable Daily Show decided to "investigate" the state of homeland security during the Christmas season. And who would have better advice than our favorite private eye and security expert, Bo Dietl?

It turns out that Imus in the Morning is not the only television show that exploits Mr. Dietl for entertainment. Here, Bo shares his expert advice and limited language skills to a horrified correspondent. In other words, it's Imus with slightly younger people and a laugh track.

(On an unrelated note, there's a random guy about 2/3 into the video who looks exactly like Bernie. To the point where it's creepy. See for yourself.)

Be sure to watch until the very end, when Bo poignantly explains the meaning of Christmas to children. If it does not bring tears to your eyes, then you are not human.

So far, on the all new and improved Imus in the Morning Show, Bernie and Bo have done a nice job of behaving themselves...so far, anyways...

lol

Thanks, Laree. I'm glad you liked it as much as I did. :-)

Al, "So far"...LOL.

I really hope that they loosen up soon. Am I unrealistic if I want a Cardinal Egan for Christmas?

Cardinal Egan?..by Christmas? You mean by THIS Christmas, College Girl?...wow.

If we are blessed by a Cardinal Egan message, I'm guessing that it will be a much tamer and milder message than what we've received in the past...

Thanks for the link CG, that was hysterical! Even though Bo Dietl is one of the guests I used to mute on Imus - a little of him goes a long way for me.

I would LOVE to have Cardinal Egan back to give us a Christmas blessing! Lord hear our prayer.

OldImusFan - Yeah, Bo can definitely get annoying at times. But I think he's hilarious in a trainwreck kind of way.
One of my favorite Bo moments was when he claimed that he ate dinner with Kim Jong-Il, and that Kim claimed that he loved watching the Imus show via a satellite in North Korea.

Which raises two questions: 1) Why didn't Kim Jong-Il stick up for Imus back in April, and 2) Can you get RFD in North Korea? :-)
