Don't Hate The Player...Hate The Name

Let us hope that the future sports reporter on Imus in the Morning never has to give updates on this basketball player, who plays pro basketball in France.

Because that would be sooooooo awkward...

I actually found it on Dave Barry's blog a few days ago:

And here's the main link to his blog:

I adore Dave Barry - he's hilarious. I was so sad when he retired.

I love Dave Barry too - never think to read his blog.

Speaking of hilarious (and sorry, this is way off-topic except that the novel starts off with a snide remark about Sharpton) I'm reading "Hollywood Station" by Joseph Wambaugh. It's a darkly hysterical novel about LAPD cops and has lots to say about what political correctness has done to that institution. I highly recommend it - he would be a great Imus guest.

No problem! It's fine to go off-topic. That actually sounds like a good novel - I'll write it down.

...and, as you get ready for a Thanksgiving hoedown, or the Thanksgiving Barbara Walters Special, the
ImusRanchSpecial
looks like a pretty doggone good deal!

Yeah, I've heard some good stuff about the Imus Ranch Special. I need to get around to ordering it.
