We Report, You Decide Not To Watch

Hey, Imus? You're supposed to be coming back soon, right? Just checking...

Not that you cared, but MSNBC finally made the announcement today that "Morning Joe" has officially replaced Imus. Interestingly enough, Dan Abrams has "ceded" his manegerial position to Phil Griffin, because now Abrams has taken over Scarborough's old slot, and thus has no more time to run MSNBC into the ground. (Confusing, isn't it?)

Honestly, who cares. The only reason I even ran this story was to show this awesome photo of Charles McCord. Best picture ever.

haha..where'd you find that photo? nexis-lexis? Powerful deal that lexis-nexis...

You know how O & A have their 'Line-of-the-day' everyday...

Well, Girl, you have the line of the day here with...
"Abrams has taken over Scarborough's old slot, and thus has no more time to run MSNBC into the ground."

...and the runner-up line of the day...

"Honestly, who cares"

lol

Thank you - I try my best.

I actually got the pic from some cable news messageboard. What's really scary is that the entire thread devoted to this picture consisted of these MSNBC devotees going, "Contessa Brewer is a MUCH better newsperson than McCord could EVER BE!" And I was like, "The fuck?"

You know, perhaps I was being too mean to Abrams. I think that it's really a team effort at MSNBC to drive themselves into the ground, kind of like a mass-suicide Kool-Aid deal. :-)

I think it originally came from the end of this clip:

College Girl,

Contessa Brewer fans? OMG where do you suppose those come from?

How long has it been since Charles, Rob and Larry Kenney have been gone from WFAN? I do believe they left to re group with Imus and Bernard, I wish Lou would join them...how long would it take to reassemble and get the new Gig off and running? After signing contracts and what have you, they would need to work out a format ect. I feel unlike other radio personalities that HYPING-ADVERTISING Imus in the Morning return to the Airwaves, would be Advertizing dollars well spent.

Thanks, Imusfan. :-) I just wish I could understand the thought processes of the MSNBC people.

Laree, I'm not sure, but apparently they're out there...:-)

As for the cast, I'm hazarding a guess that McCord and Bartlett officially left around Labor Day. On the other hand, I *think* that Kenney hadn't been on at all after the controversy.
