RIP, Levon.

I will forever be grateful to the Imus program for introducing me to the genius of Levon Helm and the Band. It's hard to sum up his talent and his impact on the world of music.

Fred Imus, 1941-2011

Very sad news today about Fred Imus.

Like you, I always looked forward to Fred's calls. He was hilarious and a great part of the program, and he influenced the show in countless ways, big and small. He'll be missed by fans - even John McCain mentioned his passing today on Twitter. But more importantly, he'll be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Fred and his family.

I'm very sad about Charles McCord leaving today. Charles was one of my favorite parts of the show - he had a great rapport with Imus and is a very funny and talented gentleman. I really wish he could stay; I also wish him the best.

No, really, it is. You're not the reason I haven't been calling or visiting lately. I've had other obligations, other people in town. It's been busy.
